Sophia Varian has had a love for fashion for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she often struggled with body image — but fashion became her outlet, her creative escape, and ultimately, her source of confidence. She learned firsthand that when you look good, you feel good — and that personal style can be a powerful tool for self-expression and self-love.

After working in several boutiques and studying business at the University of New Hampshire’s Paul College, Sophia knew she wanted to build something of her own. August B Boutique was born from a desire to create more than just a clothing brand — it’s a space that empowers women to feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves!
